Priorities for stronger schools
A student-first agenda focused on academic excellence, educator support, and accountable governance—so every family in Hernando County Schools can trust our schools are delivering results.
What I will work on—immediately
A clear, accountable plan for Hernando County Schools
School Board decisions should be measured, transparent, and grounded in what helps students learn and teachers teach. These priorities guide how I will vote, advocate, and communicate with the community.
Student achievement & literacy
Prioritize early literacy, strong fundamentals, and evidence-based interventions—paired with clear, public reporting on progress and outcomes.
Support & retain great educators
Champion competitive compensation, safer classrooms, and practical professional development that respects teachers’ time and improves instruction.
Safe, orderly learning environments
Support clear and consistent expectations for behavior that creates respectful, focused learning environments; along with mental-health supports, and campus safety practices that protect students and staff- while keeping learning on track.
Accountability & fiscal responsibility
Insist on open communication, responsible budgeting, and measurable goals—so families understand decisions and dollars follow student needs.
Focus areas that deliver results
These priorities translate into practical actions—clear expectations, strong instruction, and consistent communication with families and educators.

Academic excellence
High standards, strong curriculum, and targeted support so every student can succeed.

Educator support
Respect for the profession through retention strategies, resources, and classroom-ready training.
